How To Measure?

Use this guide to calculate how much film you'll need for your windows.

  • TAKING MEASUREMENTS

    • Measure the width and height of the glazing to be fitted: only the glazed area (the daylight opening).
    • We advise you to measure at two points for both width (L1 and L2) and height (H1 and H2). In both cases, take the larger of the two measurements.

Important: Measure each pane individually. Even if panes appear identical, there may be a few millimeters' difference.

  • CALCULATING LINEAR METERS REQUIRED

To determine how many linear meters of film you need:

    1. Add 3 cm to your glazing dimensions for a safety margin
    2. Choose the appropriate film width (153 cm or 183 cm) based on your window width
    3. Calculate the linear meters needed based on the height

    AVAILABLE FILM WIDTHS

153 cm - Standard width film

183 cm - Wide width film

  • Example - Single standard window

    • Window measures: 130 cm × 95 cm
    • Add 3 cm safety margin: 133 cm × 98 cm
    • Choose film width: 153 cm (133 cm fits within this width)
    • You need 0.98 linear meters with a width of 1.53m.

*For windows wider than 180 cm, two films will need to be applied side by side. For example, a 200 cm wide window requires 2 × 153 cm films to be used.
